Engineered, then checked.

Crash analysis for cities, custom software for everyone else. Every deliverable passes an engineer's review before it ships.

The practice

Dataraft is an engineering and data practice in Metro Vancouver, registered as a business in British Columbia. For cities we turn ICBC crash narratives into collision diagrams, a report and a workbook. For other clients we build software to a brief, and for engineers we make calcsheet, structural calculations that print every step. The disciplines in the room are structural engineering, data engineering and software.

How we work

Every project starts with a Statement of Work that fixes the scope and the deliverables. Our models are our own and run on our own hardware. We measure results against hand-checked cases the models never saw during tuning. A professional engineer reviews every output before it goes into a deliverable. Your corrections come back through one review round, and final delivery waits until they are in.
